What we look for

  • 2+ years of over-the-road commercial driving experience
  • At least 25 years of age
  • Clean record: no DUI, no failed or refused drug tests
  • 3/4- or 1-ton diesel pickup, 2008 or newer (Tow Away)
  • $1 million minimum unladen liability insurance
  • Valid DOT physical and inspection within six months
  • Passport for Canadian deliveries

Our story

Built in Indiana by the Hansen family.

In 2010, co-founders James D. Hansen, James E. Hansen, and Jourdan Hansen started Jimbo & Co Transport in Middlebury, Indiana with a small group of highly skilled independent contractors. The goal was simple: a transport company that takes care of both its customers and its contractors.

The company first focused on cargo trailers for manufacturers in Indiana, Georgia, and Texas, then grew into one of the recognized names in RV transport. Sixteen years later, we're still family-owned, still in Middlebury, and still investing in better technology and better service.

  1. 2010

    Jimbo & Co Transport founded in Middlebury, Indiana.

  2. 2012

    Jourdan Hansen becomes an owner.

  3. 2013

    James Hansen Sr. steps down as CEO, and James Hansen Jr. accepts the role.

  4. 2014

    Jimbo & Co begins shipping horse trailers.

  5. 2017

    Moves into the corporate office on County Road 12 and adds a concrete driveway.

  6. 2018

    Acquires CCC Transport and adds the Multi Haul division.

  7. 2020

    Begins hauling restroom trailers.

  8. 2021

    During the COVID-era RV boom, Jimbo & Co begins partnerships with RV manufacturers and dealerships and launches its mobile load board.

  9. 2022

    Opens a recruiting office in downtown Middlebury.

  10. 2025

    Co-founder James Hansen Sr. passes away. Jimbo & Co makes major deals with RV OEMs and dealerships, launches its motorized division, and introduces JRT, the Jimbo AI assistant. Surpasses $100 million in total sales.

  11. 2026

    Adds a 40-acre lot in Middlebury and a new yard in Kimberly, Idaho, and doubles in size for the second year in a row. Launches tracking for every RV shipped, adds 600 jobs, and invests $2 million in infrastructure and technology.

  12. 2027

    Jimbo Elite Transport launches.
